NCERT ladder for beginners
EGClasses starts every learner with a precise NCERT ladder. The idea: finish quickly, annotate smartly, and tag every chapter to PYQs.
1) The ladder
Move class-wise but skip overlap. History and Geography stay linear; Polity jumps to Class 11/12 quickly. Annotate margins with GS keywords so later notes stay thin.
2) Note style
Use tables for dates/definitions, maps for places, and 3-line paragraph summaries. EGClasses recommends a two-pass method—first read for flow, second for underlining and margin tags.
3) PYQ tagging
Attach 2-3 PYQs to each NCERT chapter. This keeps you honest about depth and saves time when you shift to advanced material.
Revisions stay light because the NCERT ladder is treated like a Contentlayer front matter that feeds later modules. EGClasses repeats this ladder in every foundation cohort.
